Mwanje Najibu has over 7 years’ experience in Information Technology, Computer engineering and small-scale farming, as a result of his responsibilities he develops, manages and oversees the development of a great range of Systems that is web-based applications, phone applications and embedded systems.

He has been involved in working with both the private sector and in a government setting. In the private sector he worked with SkyApps Technologies as a Seniour Software Engineer where he dealt with a lot of clients to access there needs during the requirements gathering process and advise them in the best ways to translate their business process into their desired web or phone applications some of the companies he worked with include Pneuma Word App, JMS Connect, Art Access, The Burn Radio, Centers 4 Her and Hive.

He then moved on to a government MDA which is Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development where he is an Information Technology Officer and in this capacity he was managing the contracts issued by the ministry to consultants to design systems for the ministry, he also would come up with initiatives to help fulfil the objectives of the ministry and ease the business processes of various departments in the ministry on addition to managing consultants designing systems and the architecture they are hosted on he would have the role of system administrator for these various systems which included The COVID-19 Cash Transfer System, National Gender Based Violence Database, The Children First Software, The Remand Home System, SafePal Application, Orphans and Other Vulnerable Children and inline work with people from various organisations both local and international to positively contribute to the Social Protection Sector of the Country.

Najibu Mwanje holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
